​The 2015 TRAIN Affiliate Consortium (TAC) Annual Meeting took place in Santa Fe, New Mexico from Tuesday, April 28, 2015 through Thursday, April 30, 2015. Sponsored by the Public Health Foundation and TRAIN's technology partner, Knowledge Management Interactive, and hosted by the New Mexico Department of Health, the meeting provided learning professionals in public health and healthcare the opportunity to share information, tools, and resources aimed at decreasing gaps in training.  
 

The theme for the 2015 TAC Annual Meeting was “How to TRAIN Effectively.” TRAIN computer training along with other discussion topics were presented, including:

  • Global Health Preparedness and TRAIN: Lessons Learned From the Ebola Outbreak, Rhonda Willis, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention; LCDR Skip Payne, Office of the Surgeon General, Division of the Civilian Volunteer Medical Reserve Corps
  • Best Practices in Course Creation: Web-Based Training, Sue Tedford, Murphy Training Solutions, LLC
  • How to Spend “One Time Funding” Wisely, Debbie Nickels, Kansas Department of Health and Environment; Erich Healy, Arizona Public Health Training Center
