The Core Competencies Workgroup held a virtual meeting on Monday, March 13, 2017 to discuss and share feedback on the draft of a new prioritization tool based on a modified version of the Core Competencies for Public Health Professionals (Core Competencies), suggestions for new Core Competencies-related tools and resources that would be helpful to the public health community, and a draft set of population health competencies developed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. In addition, updates on use of the Core Competencies and on a project related to the Competencies for Performance Improvement Professionals in Public Health were provided.
