PHF's Poster Session
The PHF-TRAIN Team will be participating in a poster session in the Hall of Flags, Building B. This session will introduce participants to
TRAIN, a national learning network for training professionals who protect and improve the public’s health. The session will also review
Foundations of Public Health Preparedness, a nationally available training plan developed by PHF and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Office of Public Health Preparedness and Response (CDC OPHPR). The training plan, available on the TRAIN network, introduces health professionals to high-quality, introductory, online trainings that teach core competency-based concepts of public health preparedness. PHF and CDC OPHPR invite health agencies to identify gaps in the training plan and explore additions and modifications that could improve its utility for public health professionals.
