The annual meeting of the National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO), NACCHO Annual 2013 will be held July 10-12, in Dallas, Texas. This year’s conference theme is Public Health by the Numbers. Our Story. Our Time. Our Future. NACCHO Annual 2013 will provide an interactive setting for local health officials and their public health partners from around the country to examine strategies, share ideas, and plan actions for sustaining or reinventing their organizations. Attendees will discover how to address preventing the leading causes of death, examine the effective use of data across all operational aspects of a public health agency, and discover how to maximize organizational performance, influence policy and maintain fiscal sustainability.
The Public Health Foundation (PHF) will be exhibiting at booth #203 in the exhibit hall to provide conference attendees with information on improving public health, including quality improvement, performance management, and workforce development services, products, and resources designed for local health professionals. Please stop by the booth during exhibit hours to learn more about PHF’s activities.
Featured resources at the exhibit booth, such as The Public Health Quality Improvement Encyclopedia, the Core Competencies for Public Health Professionals, and the Quality Improvement Learning Series Course Catalog, will assist in helping to achieve your objectives, improve health outcomes, and promote health in all communities. PHF will also provide information on TRAIN, the nation’s most comprehensive learning network for professionals who protect the public’s health. You will also be able to learn more about The Guide to Community Preventive Services (The Community Guide), a free resource providing evidence-based recommendations on many health related issues and related success stories.
