The TRAIN Affiliate Consortium (TAC) Annual Meeting is an invitation-only conference/workshop that provides opportunities for learning professionals in public health and healthcare to share knowledge and experiences and exchange information and resources about public health training and education. The theme for this year’s meeting is “Public Health Workforce Metrics & Measures.” Topics that will be discussed include: engaging organizational partners, comparing training across learners and affiliates, and computer training on TRAIN, the nation’s premier learning management system for public health professionals and volunteers. This year’s three-day meeting will take place on May 7 – 9, 2013 in Providence, Rhode Island. The meeting is sponsored by the Public Health Foundation (PHF) and TRAIN’s IT vendor Knowledge Management Interactive (KMi), and co-hosted by the Rhode Island Department of Health and the Rhode Island Health Center Association.
For the first time, PHF will allow outside organizations and agencies to request an invitation for attendance.
