Academic Health Department Learning Community Reaches 500 Members

The Academic Health Department (AHD) Learning Community now supports more than 500 public health and healthcare practitioners, educators, and researchers in their efforts to develop, maintain, and expand AHDs. Since its launch in 2011, the AHD Learning Community has grown steadily and currently reaches members from across the US and beyond working in organizations at various stages of AHD development. Learning Community activities have expanded as well with this year's creation of a listserv to facilitate communication about AHD topics and launch of the AHD Mentorship Program. Other activities, including hosting virtual meetings and webinars and developing resources and tools, also continue. Visit the AHD Learning Community website or check the Council on Linkages Update for updates as virtual meetings are scheduled and the mentorship program develops, and get involved! For more information or to join the Learning Community, please contact Kathleen Amos at [email protected].
