Calling Those Involved with Academic Health Department Partnerships! Have You Joined the Academic Health Department Mentorship Program?

Do you have experience developing, maintaining, or expanding academic health department (AHD) partnerships, or are you looking for assistance with such activities? The AHD Mentorship Program, an initiative of the AHD Learning Community, could be for you! The AHD Mentorship Program connects individuals seeking guidance in an area of AHD development or operation with those having experience in that area, helping to build ongoing mentoring relationships that support mutual learning and the sharing of expertise. This program boasts a growing group of mentors, but additional mentors with experience or expertise in any of a variety of AHD areas are needed. New participants - both mentors and mentees - are welcome at any time. Visit the PHF Pulse Blog to learn more about how the AHD Mentorship Program can help build connections between academia and public health practice and how to get involved, and contact Janelle Nichols at [email protected] with any questions.
