Indiana Uses PHHS Block Grant to Build Capacity Statewide

Now that the July 1 deadline for revised FY2014 Preventive Health and Health Services (PHHS) Block Grant work plans has passed, PHF has been hearing from health departments that are putting these infrastructure and capacity-building plans into action.

Kristin Adams, Director of the Office of Public Health Policy and Performance Management at the Indiana State Department of Health, wrote in her PHF Pulse Blog post that Indiana used this opportunity to support over 70 local public health departments. Find out in more detail how Indiana is using its PHHS Block Grant across the state and share your own experience in using this funding opportunity.

Planning Before You Communicate Tool Demonstrated in COPPHI Open Forum Workshop
