The Public Health Foundation (PHF) stands with our colleagues in state, tribal, local, and territorial health agencies. These professionals are dedicated to protecting and improving the health of individuals, communities, and our nation. PHF has seen firsthand the effects that leadership turnover and vacancies can have on the quality of health programs and the health outcomes of their jurisdictions.
Public health agencies have already been asked to do more with less, and have now been tasked with taking on a pandemic, while keeping other pivotal health priorities afloat.
Harassment, in any form, is unjustified and harmful to our public’s health. We are all in this together, with our frontline public health and health care professionals taking a crucial lead role.
