    Thanks to TRAIN’s intuitive, user-friendly interfaces, it will be easier than ever for learners to perform advanced course searches. Learn more about the new interface.

  • Will I need to create a new login ID and password?
    No, your existing TRAIN information, including learning transcripts and certificates, will carry over to the new platform.

  • Can I use TRAIN from my smartphone or tablet?
    Yes, TRAIN’s new platform is compatible with many smartphones and tablets.
 
Course Spotlight: "Introduction to Quality Improvement in Public Health"
This introductory online course, developed jointly by the Public Health Foundation and the Kansas Department of Health and Environment, teaches basic concepts of quality improvement as they relate to public health. 
 
Top 3 tips for using TRAIN 
  1. Earn continuing education at no cost
    Use the credit type course search option to find continuing education from recognized providers such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to earn CNEs, CMEs, CHES credits, and other credits for free.

  2. Keep track of past training
    The Non-TRAIN Courses section of your transcript allows you to add any trainings you have taken, even those you completed outside of TRAIN.

  3. Train by competency or capability
    Use the competency/capability course search option to find content that addresses national standards, including the Core Competencies for Public Health Professionals.
