Recently, the Public Health Foundation (PHF) was invited to present its portfolio of antibiotic stewardship work to a global audience of US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) staff. For more than five years, PHF has been working to support state and local antibiotic stewardship programs, including:

• Facilitating measureable improvement in health department programs and services, including collaboration with healthcare and community partners
• Hosting high-quality antibiotic resistance and antibiotic stewardship trainings in the TRAIN Learning Network, including the new Antibiotic Stewardship Training Series from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)
• Increasing awareness of the CDC’s Be Antibiotics Aware campaign, including promotion and dissemination of campaign materials through the PHF Online Store
